Before a real visit
Use the venue's current information
Voces en Capas is not connected to venue operations. Confirm opening hours, ticketing, access services, photography rules, bag policies, transportation, and emergency procedures directly with the venue.
Protect the work
Do not touch, move, lean on, or place items near artwork unless a clearly marked interactive installation expressly permits it.
Keep paths clear
Do not block accessible routes, exits, seating, labels, other visitors, or the space someone needs to view or move safely.
Consent and story
Permission is specific, not assumed
A public space does not erase a person's boundaries, and access to an image or story does not automatically grant permission to reuse it.
When people are involved
- Ask before photographing, recording, quoting, tagging, or sharing an identifiable person.
- Explain the intended audience and use in plain language.
- Respect refusal or withdrawal without pressure.
- Use the name, pronouns, attribution, and context the person or creator has approved.
When artwork is involved
- Follow the artist's, rights holder's, and venue's rules.
- Do not remove attribution or imply endorsement.
- Do not treat an educational prompt as copyright permission, fair-use advice, or cultural authorization.
- Seek qualified guidance for legal or rights-clearance questions.
Privacy by restraint
Do not turn the app into a confidential record
Voces en Capas provides no free-text field, photo upload, voice recording, contact list, location log, or participant profile. Do not attempt to encode names, health information, immigration details, incident reports, confidential stories, or other sensitive records into structured choices.
If a real activity requires personal or sensitive information, use an authorized process with appropriate consent, security, retention, and safeguarding—not this app.
Not an emergency or professional service
Use qualified local help when it matters
The app does not provide emergency response, mental-health care, medical advice, legal advice, copyright clearance, art authentication, appraisal, conservation guidance, building-code review, accessibility certification, security planning, or professional curatorial accreditation. In an urgent situation, contact local emergency services or appropriate on-site staff.
Adult audience
The release is designed for users 18 and older
The interface is text-led and built around adult curatorial and rights-respecting practice. It does not create child profiles, support adult–minor messaging, or offer youth enrollment. If a minor encounters the app, a parent or guardian should decide whether and how it is used.
